Stepping into the Raphael Hotel, Autograph Collection felt like being wrapped in a warm embrace, much like those snug bathrobes waiting for us in our beautifully appointed room. The historic charm of the building, adorned with lush mahogany furnishings and glittering chandeliers, set the perfect backdrop for a cozy getaway in Kansas City. One of the highlights was dining at Chaz on the Plaza; those blueberry scones paired with Southern-inspired Lobster Benedict are something I dream about! The staff was genuinely friendly, making us feel less like guests and more like long-lost friends. And while I usually hunker down with quality country music on road trips, I can't recommend enough taking a leisurely stroll to the nearby Country Club Plaza for some unique shopping and dining experiences. If you're after a perfect mix of comfort, elegance, and local flavor, this hotel is your ticket to an unforgettable Americana experience!
